MIWAFF 2021 Amazing Screenwriting Race

Each participant must pay a registration fee of $30 CAD, taxes included.  Payment to register can be made via our website, in the "Events"  section. Deadline to enter is by September 22nd. The race period  will be between October 26th till 29th. Scripts must be up to 5 pages in  length. Registered participants will be emailed one object, one line  and one theme their film must include, or they would face  disqualification. The deadline to submit a finished copy by email is  October 29th.  A participant cannot partake in another team's  project, nor collaborate with them, nor engaged in bad faith behaviour  with malicious intent towards the Festival and the other teams. If  discovered, this must be reported and will result in automatic  disqualification without any refunds whatsoever. The registration  fee paid is non-refundable. We advise you to take all required  precautions in advance to avoid such events from taking place. The  winner will be announced live during the Awards Ceremony on October  6th, 7-10PM. Winners will a total prize of $500 CAD (subject to increase  based on demand). Failure to submit by the September 29 deadline  will result in disqualification from the race. Also, failure to submit  by this deadline cannot be an excuse to demand a refund as registration  is non-refundable. Also, you must have one representative from  your team present during the October 6th Awards Ceremony. Make sure to  enter in parentheses next to the name who that person will be.
